Wild Talk #3: Exploring Rock Art Research with the Shumla Foundation

  • The Rackhouse at Desert Door 211 Darden Hill Road Driftwood, TX, 78619 United States (map)

Shumla Archaeological Center is a global leader in rock art research and education. Using advanced science and technology, they work to preserve the information held in the oldest “books” in North America — the endangered murals of the Lower Pecos Canyonlands of Texas. Join us for a fascinating evening of ancient art and modern science with Shumla Executive Director, Jessica Hamlin, as she shares Shumla’s research and recent discoveries.

Tickets for this event are free and include one free cocktail and light snacks. Additional drinks and Wild Spirit Wild Places T-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
